Peel the potatoes and boil them until tender. Mash them with a fork and keep them aside. In a frying pan heat the oil in medium and add the dry red chili. Sauté them until crispy. Take them out and keep them aside with the mashed potato. In the same oil fry the onion to light brown. Then mix the fried chili, salt, and boiled potatoes. Mix everything well and turn off the heat.
